A sound meditation can help us to refine our inner navigation skills. It can guide us in seeing the unseeable, feeling the unfeelable, sensing the unsensable. When we make time to be still, and listen: spaciousness can arise and unconscious parts of ourselves can awaken, and insights can drop in. And let’s do it, a sound meditation and anything and everything, for the insight. Insights can expand our understanding and offer us new ways of functioning more efficiently and joyfully in our lives.

Our bodies actually sync up to the harmonic inflections created by gongs, singing bowls, and other overtone-emitting instruments. These sounds act to stimulate the alpha and theta brain waves associated with meditative states of stillness; while releasing nitric oxide which supports the health of our hearts, lungs and bones, helping to regulating our nervous system, immune system, hormones and sleep cycles.
