RESTORATIVE WITH SOUND HEALING
LINSEY explores ways in which we can guide our minds by reorganizing the body. She has been practicing yoga since 2001, completing a 200 RYT certification with Hannah Harpole of Makara Yoga in India that emphasizes anatomy and Iyengar yoga, as well as a three year apprenticeship with Abbie Galvin of The Studio studying Katonah Yoga®, a syncretic Hatha yoga practice developed by Nevine Michaan. The Katonah Yoga® practice has become her foundation for teaching yoga, focusing on therapeutic adjustments, pranayama, and the language of archetypes, metaphor and geometry to guide others toward well- being. Her diverse studies inform her understanding of form, function, and patterns found in nature as they are applied to the body. Linsey uses yoga as a map to travel her way out of her own habits and into a more functional life. Students can expect an active guidance toward consciousness, through hands-on adjustments and an emphasis on building technique to better integrate and navigate one's inner and outer worlds.
